Executive Director
Welcome to the Miami Valley Fire/EMS Alliance website. Or as we’re better known, the Alliance. The Alliance was formed in 1995 as Council of Governments under ORC 167. We’re a unique organization that works regionally to defray the cost of doing business for our members. Currently, we have 18 Voting/Full Members, four Associate Members, and five Affiliate Members. When people ask about the Alliance, I say, “We save the taxpayers’ money!” As you can imagine, it receives a very positive response. Currently, public safety departments are experiencing a shortfall of qualified personnel to fill numerous vacancies; especially in the part-time ranks. The Alliance has solutions.
