The Miami Valley Fire/EMS Alliance is seeking an Executive Director.  This is a part-time position managing and directing a Council of Governments consisting of Voting Members, Associate and Affiliate members in an eight county region.  The Executive Director is responsible for implementation of the Alliance initiatives, financial control, communications, grant administration, and development of programs to benefit from the talents and resources of all member communities.  The Alliance is the Sponsoring Agency for Ohio Task Force 1 (the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team, the Dayton Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team, and Region 3 Rescue Strike Team.  The Executive Director reports to the Miami Valley Fire/EMS Alliance Board of Directors through the Executive Committee.  The successful candidate must have command level experience in a fire or public safety department, or local government senior management experience.  Salary is dependent on qualifications.  More information can be found on the website
